James H. Williams is a seasoned sports journalist currently serving as a Los Angeles Sports Reporter for USA Today. With over a decade of experience, he worked as an Assistant Digital Sports Editor for the Southern ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵNews Group from 2013 to 2024. Williams knows how to produce written, social, and multimedia content. He’s also worked as a beat writer, covering UCLA football since 2019.

Williams graduated from Long Beach State University, where he was notably active, serving as NABJ co-president in 2018, and a co-host of a radio show at 22West Media’s on-campus station. His skills extend to video editing and on-camera reporting.

He also started his journalism education at both Cerritos College and Riverside City College.
