Dr. Christine Whitcraft

Principal Investigator

Christine is a Professor and the Paul and Katherine Johansen Endowed Chair for Environmental and Life Sciences at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵState University, Long Beach who came here via Williams College, Scripps Institution of Oceanography (Ph.D.), San Francisco State University, and San Francisco Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (post-doc). Wetland ecology provides an opportunity for Christine to have a job and be outside at the same time!

Matt is a 1st year graduate student, researching how fish community composition varies among southern ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵestuaries and how this could be used to develop an estuarine fish condition index. He graduated with his B.S. in Marine Biology from University of Alaska Southeast.
