My time at ֦Ƶ has been a season of growth, resilience, and connection. As a first-generation re-entry student, I am proud to have earned a 3.8 GPA and made the Dean's List while balancing leadership, research, internships, and recovery from a serious car accident. Serving as Vice President of the CHHS Student Council and representing students on the CHHS Faculty Council have been especially meaningful. I have also valued learning through OURS Connects, public health internships, and garden-based health education. The Beach helped me turn difficult experiences into a stronger commitment to advocacy, service, and healthier communities.

I chose ֦Ƶ because its Health Science program aligned with my goal of improving health and access for underserved communities. As a military spouse, I also needed an education that could prepare me for a meaningful and adaptable career wherever life takes my family. ֦Ƶ offered the academic rigor, community-centered opportunities, and supportive campus environment I was looking for.

After earning my bachelor's degree, I plan to continue in ֦Ƶ's accelerated MPH pathway and deepen my experience in community health, research, and service. My long-term goals include becoming a physician assistant and pursuing doctoral study. I hope to build a career that bridges public health and clinical care, with a focus on veterans and military-connected families, people with disabilities, older adults, and other underserved communities.

I plan to stay connected by participating in alumni events, mentoring future transfer and first-generation students, and supporting CHHS programs and student organizations. I would also like to share internship, research, and career opportunities with students and continue building relationships with the faculty and peers who shaped my experience at The Beach.
